What I'm looking for
- High-load backend systems — Java 21, Spring Boot, reactive stacks. Real production volume, not greenfield toys.
- Platform engineering and infra — Kubernetes, observability, resilience. Owning how the system runs, not just how it builds.
- Teams where lead still means write code. Two-tier structures with sub-leads work well.
What I'm not
- A pure people manager who doesn't open the IDE.
- Someone who'll gate every decision behind a ten-person committee.
